Please Note: Due to the 2019 Curtain Up! performance at the Birds Nest on Friday, September 20th, class will be cancelled for that day and rescheduled for Friday, October 11th.

Students will learn sequences that combine pole motion with basework to gain focus, balance, and control as they explore vertical space.

Expect to safely and gradually build your strength, fitness, and confidence, with a wide range of style elements from sophisticated to sassy with this twist on pole fitness!

No experience is required.

Beginner Acroyoga 6 Week Series

6 Week Series: Sept. 23 - Oct 28

Mondays 5:45-7pm

AcroYoga is a type of partner yoga featuring a base and a flyer. The base stays connected to the ground, and the flyer stays connected to the base. It's a blend of acrobatics, yoga, and thai massage. It's both an acrobatic and a therapeutic practice.

This is a great class to enroll in no matter your experience level! Whether you're brand new to acro, or just looking to refine your current practice, this class is perfect for you. We will focus on the skills necessary to safely base and fly foundational level poses and transitions, as well as safe spotting for a range of acroyoga practices.

We begin every class with a group circle followed by solo and partner conditioning to get you warmed up and moving. We place a strong emphasis on how to take care of your body for long-term success.

No partner or experience required. Wear clothes you feel comfortable moving in and being upside down in. We request that you are barefoot for this class, although grippy yoga socks are permissible.


Coming Soon! Creative Hoop Dance: 8 Week Series

8 Week Series: Sept. 25 - Nov 13 (8 weeks)

Wednesdays 6-7:30 p.m.

A dance class for hoopers, and a hoop class for dancers; designed to unlock more pathways in YOUR unique flow. Together, we will explore the elements of dance (Space, Time, Force, and Body), using the hoop as an extension of our bodies. Each class will include a body-brain warm-up, exploring the concept through individual improvisation and partner/group exercises, skill building in both dance and hoop technique, collaborative creating, and a cool-down stretch with reflection. The result is a more dynamic, expressive, and embodied hoop dance practice, a deeper understanding of the elements of movement, and a chance to develop our choreographic minds.

No prerequisites. Extra hoops will be available for class.


Circus For All: Homeschooler Takeover

Held the last Monday of each month!

CURRENT DATES: September 30th, October 28th, November 25th, & December 30th

Doors open at 10:15am

Class is 10:30am-12:00pm

Once a month, run away and join the circus with a diverse crowd of homeschooling families! In this class for ages 6 and up, we will warm-up our bodies and brains with the BrainDance method, enjoy creative explorations and games with partners/groups, and build skills in a variety of circus arts, including hula hoop dance, juggling, plate spinning, and more. The result is a unique communal experience that promotes physical activity, mindfulness, self esteem, creative expression, social-emotional engagement, and most importantly, FUN!


Standing Acrobatics

5 Week Series: Oct. 19 - Nov. 23

Saturdays, 3:30-4:45pm

In standing acrobatics, the base remains on their feet while supporting the flyer in the air. This series will teach beginner level moves and safety measures that can be applied to your practice to grow and progress into more dynamic positions as you learn.

Class content includes: drilling high birds and side stars, camel into bird and side star, building comfort in two highs with and without hands on/walking, princess down, and feet to hand progressions from low to high.
