Yoga & Sound Healing: Gong Immersion
WITH LIZ HOLLAND OF ANCIENT ALLOYS, & LIZ CZAPSKI
SUN, JULY 21ST, 6:00PM - 8:00PM
64 Fillmore Ave, Buffalo NY, 14210
Participants can expect to be led on a restorative journey enhanced and facilitated by both yoga and gong meditation. Yoga will be led by the The Birds Nest’s very own Liz Czapski, followed by gong meditation led by Liz Holland of Ancient Alloys. This is a two hour meditative experience, consisting of one hour of yoga, and one hour of sound healing.
Gong meditation is a form of sound healing, in which participants are “bathed” in healing vibrations from gongs. In ancient civilizations gongs were used as spiritual tools to help guide meditation. More recently, scientific studies have shown the therapeutic use of sound frequencies help to initiate our physiological healing response, and promote overall health and well-being. Immersion in a full gong bath allows the participant to find inner peace and self-heal.
